The Rainhall Drinks Company has been in the Sagar family in various guises, for almost 50 years. Now owned by Alan and Penny Sagar, the business as it is now comprises a specialist beer and wine shop in Barnoldswick with a quaint and tasteful bar in the cellars with the original flagged floors and beams. in addition they have a concession in Oswaldtwistle Mill with an excellent range of Belgian, German and British beers, wines from around the world and plenty of beautifully wrapped gift ideas including beer and ager hampers, Belgian beers with their appropriate glassware, wines in gift boxes etc etc!!

Winning the Booker (wholesale) prize for excellence best off licence in the country three times gave them the confidence to expand their business and specialise in British and Belgian ales culminating in winning the Carlsberg - Tetley best beer retailer in 2003 beating both Booths and Morrisons in the final.

A truly unique business in the most unlikely of places!!
