College

Myerscough College is one of the largest providers of land-based education in the country, offering a wide range of both full and part-time courses for school leavers and adults.

The College has a strong partnership with Burnley Football Club, whereby students can undertake a range of full-time courses in Football Studies, Cricket Studies and Golf Studies. Superb facilities exist for sports students - including 14 football pitches, one all-weather sports surface and a number of cricket pitches. Much time is spent here by Myerscough Football Academy students, who benefit from the top facilities of a Premier League football club as well as coaching from UEFA ‘A’ and ‘B’ qualified coaches. The Centre also has access to the on-site golf course at Towneley Hall which is used for the delivery of Golf Studies courses.

Towneley Hall also provides an impressive venue to deliver a range of full and part time courses in Access, and Horticulture. The 14th Century country house is ideally located within 180 hectares of park and woodland, yet only 1.5 miles from the town centre.

Additionally, Crow Wood Equestrian Centre offers excellent facilities for those students wishing to undertake full-time, part-time and short courses in Equine Studies. An indoor school, two outdoor schools and all-weather gallops and trails complement an impressive livery at this popular £1 million venue.

Open Mornings and Open Evenings are held throughout the year and offer potential students the chance to chat with tutors about the courses on offer and view the facilities.
