What is “By Official Appointment”?

Within the Burnley and Pendle region it has been recognised that there is a group of elite businesses who share two important characteristics:

They are very good at what they do
They would benefit from a closer relationship with Burnley FC

This programme is aimed at bringing together local businesses and loyal Burnley Football Club fans, in order to generate more business and help supporters receive the best possible service from the best local businesses.

Primarily, the programme has been established for two important reasons:

To leverage the buying power of the club’s loyal supporters enabling BOA businesses to increase their customer base and net sales
To formally bring together a family of businesses under one common banner

How Does It Work?

Only one business per industry category will be invited to become the clubs exclusive By Official appointment suppliers.

Businesses will be invited to become the Clubs exclusive By Official Appointment supplier/provider within specific industry classification or categories.

Businesses interested in taking part in the programme will pay an annual subscription in order to secure the license for a period of 12 months.

The BOA packages are split across four price categories (A, B, C & D). The BOA license will be renewable with the agreement of both Burnley FC and the appointee upon the anniversary of the programme.
